Deby and I had a wonderful view of this old homestead from the deck of our cabin, high above the Upper Mountain Fork River in eastern Oklahoma back in April of 2009.

I was struck by the fact that this was probably once the home of a family much like ours, long since forgotten and left to deteriorate.

Inspired by a photograph I took with my iPhone, this digital abstract painting emphasizes the colors of the fall foliage that my grandson and I enjoyed while camping at Tyler State Park.
